at Moutonboro Marina (1969) My most vivid memory (work wise) from my summer job in '69 was that a woodworking expert in the shop spent the majority of the summer repairing the intricate wood deck work on an old wooden sailboat that had turned turtle in shallow water. His craftsmanship was truly a work of art. Near the end of the summer the completed sailboat was being towed under the Long Island Bridge back to the owner's home....and some kid dropped a cinder block onto the boat from the bridge and completely ruined all of the repair work!
