Rand Mt is in New Durham, just S of Copple Crown Mt and NE of Merrymeeting Lake. It has a fairly impressive cliff near the summit on its S face. This view is across Merrymeeting Lake to the S and SW. Now is the time for the red maple tree to produce its red flowers, as seen here where a red maple is sticking its head just above the cliff top, from about 70 ft below at the base of the cliff.
