Someone trimmed branches from the top of a pine tree and attached a flag and flag pole on it near the top of Avery Hill. Hopefully that was done by the property owner, or with his/her permission. Peaks of the Belknap Range make up the background, with Hills Pond visible at the base of the mountain.
