Winter Harbor has one of this lake's oldest camps. While Camp Ossipee is 150+ years old, tent canvas is continually updated. Like this one, a few tent platforms are added as the owners' families increase in number. King George's Redcoat troops could have shaded themselves under old-growth White Pines still growing there.
