When approaching Hedgehog Mt on the UNH Trail from the Kancamagus Highway, one finds much open ledge where views of peaks and valleys of the area are quite rewarding. Here is a view of Hedgehog itself, from the north, showing examples of the extensive ledge that is found both around the summit and on the trail into the peak, both of which provide grand views.
