Faraway Mt, at 2782 ft, is the 2nd tallest peak in the Ossipee Range. It is part of the Castle in the Clouds property and an old carriage road provides an easy hike to the outlook near the summit, from which this photo was taken. At the rear of the photo, on the far side of Winnipesaukee, lies the Belknap Range. At the right center of the photo you can see the castle grounds located on the side of little Lee Mt, on whose summit the Castle sits, tho it can't be seen in this photo because of the thickly wooded summit of Lee Mt.
