W Rattlesnake Mt occupies the center portion of the photo - it is probably the most popular hiking destination of the Squam Lakes area, as it provides grand views from the top of its large ledges and is relatively easy to hike to. Immediately behind it is Doublehead Mt of the Squam Range, and further back, at the left, is Sandwich Dome, of the Sandwich Range.
