A shot across Lake Eileen showing one of the smaller beachfront sites on the lake at the Hidden Valley scout camp. Note the red maples to the far right along the shore. The early spring flowers of the red maple, which preceed the appearance of the leaves, add a reddish hue to the spring scene in a manner not unlike the bright reds of fall that red maple leaves can add to the scenery of that season. A group of kids seemed to be enjoying the warm spring day at the site - perhaps an end of the year school outing.
