People who take the tour of Castle in the Clouds first have to drive up the mile-long Front Road to get to the Carriage House, where they board a bus for the ride up the last several hundred yards to the Castle. Front Road runs along beside Shannon Brook for a 1/4 mile or so and passes within sight of a couple of waterfalls. This is the first falls visible from the road and it has been given the name First Falls.
