The massive mountain mass of Sandwich Dome is one of the primary elements of the Winnipesaukee view-scape. This shot of it was taken late last fall to the NNW across Welch Island from Ellacoya State Park. The huge bulk of Sandwich Dome occupies most of the left-central portion of the photo. At the far left is Red Hill and at the far right is Flat Mt.
