Huge moth. body is about 1 inch long, wings had to be 3 to 3.5 inches. Love the "eyes" on the wings to ward off predators. taken 6-22-03

Somebody please tell us what kind of moth this is!! I thought the luna moth was beautiful, but this one takes your breath away! Great shot - thanks for sharing!!!

This is a lunar moth, just not the usual green color we see at the Lake.
