This huge structure is not one of the Lakes Region's recent Mc Mansions - it has a long history at Squam Lake. I've been driving by it for 5 decades, but I don't really know how much longer it has occupied the site. Like many of the summer homes at Squam, this is set back away from the lake for a considerable distance. I took the photo from the lakeside road that separates the building from the lake.
