Mt Moosilauke, NH's tallest mountain to the west, has its summit hidden by clouds. Livermore and Cotton Mts, close to the northern shore of Squam Lake, are popular hiking destinations of that area, providing good views across the lake. A good eye can pick out some of the bobhouses at the far end of Meredith Bay.
