As of old when Moses smote the rock and it poured forth water that the people might drink; so may this boulder, dedicated as a memorial to New Hampshire valor, give forth a stream of patriotic inspiration that shall continue its flow down the centuries ever stimulating heroic devotion to Home, Country, and Free Institutions.
