Little Pine is the small mountain immediately NNE of Mt Major, whose steep easterly slope comes right down to Rt 11 just a few hundred yards S of where 11D joins 11. The summit of the mountain has no views, but an open ledge a bit NE of the summit provided this view today. We're looking east over Youngs Cove, Black Point and Derby Mt, which frame the uppermost section of Alton Bay. Significant mountains of the background are identified.
