Left car late 40's GM without seeing the grille I cannot be sure which brand but would guess at a Chevy. Right: 39 or 40 Ford or Mercury. Again the grille is not clear.

The front car looks like a Chevy 47 or 48 not much difference in those years except for the grill. The Ford product is a 39-40 again.

I checked with an expert, my father who had a 48 Chevy, and the Chevy can be from the early 40's to 48. There was no change from the prewar care up thru 1948 with the exception of the grill.
