Top Photo is of new MT. WASHINGTON II pirctured circa. 1940 at the Weirs. Notice that the pilot house is on the second deck.
Bottom photo is of the Mount pictured in 1947. The pilot house has been moved to the third deck for better visability and more passenger room. In 1947 the Mount's official name was M.V. MOUNT WASHINGTON without the II and with full spelling of Mount.
