Here we see a shot from the top of a columnar joint which has weathered over the past few million years and has finally separated from the original major rock mass and now stands alone as a highly unusual single rock, looking like something man-made rather than nature-made. This rock fractured into a heptagonal (7-sided) form, looking like something cut from a quarry using a diamond saw, but which was instead made over many millenia by natural processes deep underground.
