Black Snout is the Ossipee Range mountain immediately north of Roberts. Nanamocomuck and Hedgehog are small peaks of the Sandwich Range. Mt Bemis is just west of Rte 302 as you enter the Crawford Notch State Park. Willey, to the west, and Webster (each about 30 miles distant), to the east, are the giant sentinels that greet the traveler as he enters the heart of the notch. Tremont is a smaller mountain near Bartlett that is just south of the park.
