Here we look out over the bottling plant to the Belknaps and Winnipesaukee beyond. The outlook is from the back of the upper pasture at the Castle grounds. In the early 1900's this pasture served as part of an 18-hole golf course that Tom Plant, the Castle's creator, built as his own convenient back-yard links. In a few places on the property old tees and greens can still be seen, all grown up and gone to seed.
