As a puppy, max spotted a loon that had come up for air, while fishing, about 75 yards off the port bow. In an instant he slipped his PFD and collar, dove headlong into the lake to play with the loon. Course the loon was fathoms below the surface before max ever hit the water... Well, after the spin cycle, came the dryer.
Max graduated from puppydumb this day in 1999.
