Stayed there in the early spring (late 50's) when my dad was looking for a summer rental. He had decided that Melvin Village was too far to travel to. It was a rainy and cold weekend with almost no one around and not many places open either. One thing I remember about the Blue Jay was that it was a rooming house type of place. The bath was down the hall ... not in the room. The doughnuts were good though and they served breakfast and lunch there too. Thanks McDfor the post.
