McDude:
My first job was as a dishwasher at the Chanticleer Inn in 1958. Mr. Bradley owned it then and the the chef was "Frenchy" Legere.
Every Sunday afternoon we had a Buffet that was well attended. The "Make Your Own" sundaes were very popular.
The barn on the right side of this photo was long gone by the late 1950's.

Hello Carguy and McDude:
My father and uncle purchased the Chanticleer in 1961 and owned it until 1981. The barn in this photo was, but then, the parking lot for the Inn.
I've been looking for old postcards and photographs of the Inn, but haven't been able to find too many. When I was in my teens (1970s) I remember seeing pictures taken by someone in the late 1940's of the Inn when they stayed there on their honeymoon.
Thanks for sharing the photo.
Best Regards,
GenerousKing
