Mountains on the horizon are, from the left, Little Pine (only a few miles ahead, right beside Rte 11 just past the Mt Major parking lot), Sandwich Dome (behind The Woodlands), Osceola (2 peaks, behind the tip of Echo Point and the high ground of Rattlesnake Island), Tripyramid and Whiteface of the Sandwich Range (also behind Echo Point, but more to the right) and Roberts and Faraway of the Ossipees (behind Peggy's Cove). There were a number of fishermen on the ice, but they show up only as specks on the photo.
