Shot from the top of the Mt Major rockfall on the east slope of the mountain. A turkey vulture searching for food along the lower slopes of Mt Major. In the background is part of the eastern shoreline of Alton Bay, a bit north of Echo Point.

It almost looks like you were flying along next to him. We see a lot of these guys flying in groups of 5 - 17, doing lazy circles up and down Rts 11 and 28A. I'd swear they had a regular lunch / dinner route and time.
