Great Post Card. Any date/postmark info?
The structure on the left, across the lake, appears to be a boat house or maybe 2 and it is no longer there. The cleared area is also interesting and I am trying to place it's location. The samll buildings on shore (right) could be the same ones a seen in this recent photo I took http://www.winnipesaukee.com/photopo...500&ppuser=628

JS: for some reason your link above (which I'd really like to see) is not working. Could you try it again? This is an unused postcard with no date or postmark, or even, writing for that matter.
PS - How did you get out of mushing in the bed race?????????????????

This shot was probably taken from the stone highway bridge at Loon Cove. Straight across the bay is Peggy's Cove, with Echo Point on the left. The boat house was part of an estate on the point. Immediatly on the right is a small beach that was owned by a fine gentleman named Ray Witherbee. I believe some of those boathouses are still there.
