The SW slope of Mt Longstack comes right down to the NE shore of Knight's Pond. The ledges are very steep and run for quite a distance across the upper slope of the mountain - partly obscured by the trees in this photo. The ledges of Longstack are easily seen from many high viewspots around the west side of Lake Winnipesaukee, if you happen to be looking easterly.
