A view of Shannon Mt at the Hidden Valley Scout Reservation. There is a trail about 3/4 of a mile long that goes around a large area of swampy land (through a fine hemlock forest) that provides this view and opportunities to see much wildlife associated with such wetland areas. There is also a trail to the top of Shannon Mt to the ledges seen here near the top, which provide fine views to the south and the west.
