I think it a good idea to have a fuel fume detector installed in the engine compartment area of every boat. Where gasoline is involved, a smoke detector would be next to useless.... A gasoline fume detector could be installed so as to prevent the opperater from starting the engine, in the first place.
Hopefuly more boating safety ideas will come out of your posting these pictures, Don!
