About 1 mile up the Mt Roberts Trail there is a ledgy outcrop which offers hikers this view of Lake Winnipesaukee and many well-known NH mountains. This broad vista stretches from the Belknaps in the east to Mt Moosilauke & Sandwich Dome in the west. Near the center you can see the cultivated fields of Ledgewood Farm, so named because of the fine view of the outcrop from Rte 171 as it passes the farm.
