dcr Deceased Member Registered: February 2004 Posts: 1,317	A very fine view of the Belknap Range can be had from near the top of a small (1461') mountain, Avery Hill, located near the end of the Alton Mtn Road. Nearly all of the mountains in the range can be seen from the view site near the top. The trail up is moderately steep, but quite short. This is right in McDude's backyard - perhaps you could persuade him to provide a guided tour. This is an annotated version of a photo posted in Feb. of 04.
