Many boaters heading northerly up Alton Bay have witnessed this scene as they pass by Sandy Point. Near the center you can see several navigation markers frozen in the ice off the point, amongst the snowplow mounds at the end of the landing strip. For the interested, these are the names of the background mountains of this scene.
