We're looking from Piper Cove over Mooney Point to the Squam Range in the background. The tall, dark mountain looming up in the far background is Sandwich Dome (Sandwich Range), the dominant mountain in the immediate area. The lakeside mountain with the large, ledgy outcrop is West Rattlesnake, the most popular hiking destination in the Squam Lake area. Immediately behind it is Doublehead Mt, of the Squam Range. Just left of Doublehead (and left of Sandwich Dome) is Squam Mt.
