The Halfmoon cottages were built on the site of the Weirs Hotel after it burnt in 1924. Note the old long train platform which didn't burn until the night the Mount burned in 1939 (?) placing this photo between those two dates. I got this from e-bay and it was called the 'original copy'. To my surprise the negative was sent along with the hard copy.
