Alton Village - December 23, 1909. The building in the lower center is no longer there. The police station was built on that spot. The building behind and to the lower right is still there and will become part of the new railroad park project.

From this station was shipped farm and dairy products and locally made shoes and corkscrews. The Grain Storage Building housed the grain shipped in for the cattle. Workers came in from New Durham and Farmington to work at the factories.
