The barn and buildings in the lower left of the photograph are of the Chanticleer Inn. The Inn was probably still a fram when this picture was taken. You can see Carr's Point and Lake Shore Park in the right side background of the photo. The photographer was standing on Locke's Hill, possibly at Kimball's Castle.
