Fields Brook runs thru an often narrow and deep brook valley between Turtleback and Big Ball Mts. Much of this terrain is rugged, as in this photo, and presents very attractive scenic sites, including many small waterfalls and occasional gorges such as this. For nearly 2 miles the Mt Shaw Trail runs beside or close to this brook, providing easy access to this picturesque landscape.
