Near the center of the cliffs shown in the photo you can see 2 huge blocks of granite (together they approximate the size of a small garage) that have fallen from the cliff face. They have, with other boulders, created a fairly large rock cave which hikers can access via an alternate path to the summit. To enter the cave you must first squeeze thru a small opening at the bottom of the lower block, pass a few yards thru the cave, and finally squeeze out thru another small opening near the bottom right corner of the upper block. From there you continue to climb, first up the rest of the rockfall and finally up a small, fairly easy section of the cliff face until you reach the summit. Kids of all ages really enjoy this adventure.
