This falls is at Canaan Brook on the SE slope of Mt Shaw. It falls steeply to the top of a rockfall where it disappears briefly under the rocks and reappears at the rockfall base near the remains of an early 1800's stone dam which once impounded water for the operation of a clapboard mill.
