When "fins" ruled the road. 1957? (Though that white Plymouth might be a '58).
Hall's Drugs (left) closed in 2009.
"Rexall-Drugs" was "Toby's", which closed promptly after the "Rite-Aid" (a drugstore chain) foundation was started. The white building to the right of "Black's" awnings was the Wolfeboro National Bank, which moved to Center Street (Pickering's Corner) in the late 80s.
Wolfeboro was a much smaller town back then: That black 1957 could've been Reverend Edw. Cantwell's Chevy—perhaps being driven by wife Erma in this photo.
