In this clear Autumn photo, the mountains are the southern face of the Ossipee Range.
Castle in the Clouds is off the frame to the left, Bald Peak is prominent, then Mt. Shaw, followed by (I think) Big Ball, and one other peak. (Perhaps the one hikers are calling "Black Snoot" today).
Viewed from the eastern half of the lake—through summer's haze—the three peaks appear close enough together to merge into one broad peak.
