Wonderfull shot of a real beauty. Did you notice the small winshield in the bow. Must be a seating area. I have never seen that on other old boats.
I hope I will come across this one in person somtime.

This boat was originally the property of Robert Sedgley. He kept it in his boathouse on the Weirs Channel. I was told that it was the first twin screw Chris Craft cabin cruiser on the lake and was delivered to Mr. Sedgley in 1939.At 29' long, it was powered by a pair of Chris Craft flat head fours.
It was originally named "GERTBOB IV". I had the pleasure of driving this craft in an unrestored state after many years of storage in its boathouse. A magnificent cruiser.
The area in front is indeed a small seat with its own windshield. The fabric areas of the top and cabin roof were originally blue. It was sold, restored, and renamed "The People's Choice" many years ago. I don't know if it still carries that name. I am pleased to learn that it still plies the waters of Winnipesaukee.
