July fourth, weekend, Happy fourth and love to all.
An offshore Captain doing a great job of controlling his boat on this Holiday weekend, at the Weirs Channel today. I can hear the sound of the engines, to this day... 'Kind O sweet!
Several years ago I Captained a 41 foot Sonic Se High Deck, with twin 750s. I had stainless steel electric salinoid opperated mufflers installed to alow us to visit ports, such as Martha's Vinyard, the keys in Florida and many others as they had noise limmits, and this was many years ago.... Thank God I was not aboard for the following Word of Caution.. With a high perfomance boat, with a one, two, three or more engine configuration, do not stuff the nose and take on too much water, as the weight of all of those engines, at stern will put you nose up in a heartbeat, and you will have trouble retrieving life jackets from the cabin.
Sorry.... I need to correct a type error.
Today however, I got to meet some more of Barbara's Family as I visited, the Fabulous and Famous, Waldo Peppers, in the Weirs, to enjoy, and get some of the very Best Food in our World!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have learned to enjoy every moment here!
Thank you all, trfour
Love and respect everyone here, and you will enjoy!
