When Route 3 was only two lanes wide! Also the town docks were not extensively developed. I'm guessing the 50s because I think I see a 1956 two-tone Ford station wagon in the postcard. "Bordering on three lakes...Winnipesaukee, Waukewan and Wicwas...offering vacationists, sportsmen and travellers year round recreational facilities. For detailed information, address: Secretary, Meredith Civic Association. BICENTENNIAL CELEBRATION July 27 - August 4, 1968"
