Owl's Head is a rugged ridge running NW from the northern shores of Merrymeeting Lake. It has steep, open ledges that provide views like this. Mt Eleanor is the lakeside mountain in the center background. To its right and a little further back is Rattlesnake Mt. Looming up over that is the pyramid-shaped Prospect Mt of Alton.
