From left to right, you see Turtleback Mt, Mt Shaw, Black Snout and Big Ball (Tate) Mt. About 3/4 of the way up Turtleback you see a large, rocky prominence - that is the well-known Bald Knob (formerly called Bald Peak), a favorite destination of hikers in the lakes region. It's hard to get a better view of Winnipesaukee for relatively little effort. The trail to the top is only 1 mile, but it is steep in spots.
