The brick building in the foreground is full of lawyers' offices.
Behind it is the old mill, which enthusiastically welcomes visitors, gives guided tours of mill machinery, and can sell you some warm stockings that were newly sewn on the intricate devices you were just viewing. This was a "going concern" during WW2, with a century of Laconia history behind it.
To the right is the power station, which provided electric power to the mill. The power turbines housed there discharge their water below—and to the right end of the red bridge.

Actually it's the opposite. The foreground building is the Belknap Mill with the machinery & tours, the one in the middle is now called One Mill Plaza, and was the Busiel Mill (since converted to offices.)
The building under my logo is where the City of Laconia Tax Troll lives.....
