Sandy Island was featured in a tourist handout mailed to Wolfeboro taxpayers.

(It's not in Wolfeboro).

Two of the most hard-worked "workboats" on Winnipesaukee operate from this island's dock. The shoreline is worth a "drive-by-look" along its eastern shore: It's got to be the most perfect island for a summer camp.
