Hi, IDT
We were riding in and out of a mountain storm here this day. The trails were not groomed and with the wind drifting the powdered snow into some Large drifts, Andre and Carl were taking turns braking trail at the lead for the rest of us. We would stop every now and again to rest, and they would check the engine air boxes for any powdered snow that might have gotten in. As you know, if water gets on top of a piston, it will not compress. ... No problems.
So, not to worry IDT.
Side note; Riding around here is a piece-a-cake for these two. Back in winter of 1992, they and two others took a snowmobile ride from Anchorage Alaska, to Nova Scotia and many of the boardering United States along their way. A 10,252 mile treck and are in the Book Of Guinness World Records. One of the four sleds is on display down at Bear Brook State Park, in the New Hampshire Snowmobile Museum.
