A view from a ledgy prominence on the SW shoulder of Pine Mt. The ridgeline of peaks on the horizon runs N to S from Gilford through Gilmanton. The houses seen at lower right center are located on the Avery Hill Rd in Alton. The marshy site near the center is a low area flooded by the passage of Frohock Brook through an area of frequent beaver activity.
